This article will explain how to add custom language to your $19 Basic Demand Letter purchase with Dispute. This article shows you how to upgrade your letter and send a request for custom edits that will be returned to you for review in 2-3 business days.

Instructions:

Step 1:

Login to your Dispute account and select the case where you have purchased the Basic Demand Letter service.

Step 2:

Scroll down to the Demand Letter portion of the case and click the red "Upgrade now —> " link in the blue banner.

Step 3:

Attach your payment information to purchase the $49 custom demand letter upgrade. Afterward, your letter will be shown as a "Custom Demand Letter" on your case screen. Click "Start" to begin the letter.

Step 4:

Follow the software flow on generating a demand letter by clicking "Start."

Step 5:

Review the mailing addresses and click "Confirm" to proceed.

Click "Edit" to change these details.

Step 6:

Select a Demand Letter Template.

Don't worry. You can change the template before sending the letter.

Click "Next" to proceed.

Step 7:

Review the letter before your custom requests.

Click "Templates" to change the template generated on the right.

Click "Review Letter" to proceed.

Step 8:

Decide whether you would like Dispute’s help with the defendant paying you online through Dispute.

Step 9:

Review the generated letter and click "Request Revision" when you are ready to add custom language to the letter.

Please write your custom revision requests in the "Description” text box. Click "Submit” when you are done writing. You may also schedule a call with our team, who will take down your request over the phone.

Step 11:

We will process your request and update your letter in 2-3 business days. Once the revision has been made, we will reach out via email to let you know the letter is ready for review.

Click the blue "Dashboard" link to return to our website and review the letter.

Step 12:

Click the red "Review" button under the Custom Demand Letter purchase to check your newly updated letter. You can request another round of revisions following the same steps or submit the letter for sending.
