This article will explain how to edit a small claims document that has already been generated and signed but not yet submitted for filing. You can update the document and submit it for filing in a few minutes using Dispute’s software.


Prerequisites:

Purchased but not filed $99 or $349 small claims service

Instructions:

Step 1:

Access the specific small claims document you want to edit by choosing the case in the “Active Cases” screen.

Step 2:

Next to the red “File” button, click the “three dots icon” to bring up the “Edit paperwork” option.

Step 3:

Click “Confirm and edit” to delete your signature and to move forward with editing your document.

Step 4:

Congratulations! You can now re-generate an updated document using the software. Click “Next” through the software flow to regenerate, sign and submit your document for filing. We will keep your old answers saved, so you don’t need to retype every answer.
