Commissioner Michael J. Pearce oversees the small claims court at the Bellflower Courthouse. The Hon. Pearce was elected to the Los Angeles Superior Court in 2008. He graduated from both Oxford and Cambridge, before moving to the US and graduating from Duke Law School in 1979. Commissioner Pearce is active in the Long Beach community having served in numerous Long Beach Bar Association and City of Long Beach positions.
Parking is available in a garage located behind the Bellflower Clifton M. Brakensiek Library, on Flower Street and Civic Center Drive. A limited amount of street parking is also available in the surrounding area.
